POSITION OVERVIEW

Ensure the safety and security of EM Live Arena through effective safety and security management systems and programs.​

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Safety

  • Design and develop safety management systems to ensure international standard safety performance of the EM Live Arena.
  • Ensure safety systems and programs are well coordinated, assigned and scheduled in an efficient manner and in accordance with local and global benchmarks/standards.
  • Develop EM Live’s Emergency and Contingency Response Plan and Loss Prevention Program
  • Develop relevant safety policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure the implementation of EM Live safety policies, standards and procedures to assure an accident-free environment.
  • Ensure timely and adequate team response to all crises or emergencies that occur within EM Live and manage them on an ongoing basis.
  • Administer and manage the Safety team in the initiation, preparation, implementation and accomplishment of all safety initiatives and endeavors.
  • Prepare strategic plans and strategies and sets goals and objectives to continuously improve the overall safety performance of EM Live Arena.
  • Design and develop safety awareness and education programs on all relevant safety concerns and issues through posters, safety publications and pamphlets.
  • Ensure the implementation of Best Safety Practices, Risk Management and Loss Prevention, Basic Fire Safety and Fire Prevention in coordination with the Ministry of Defense, Bangkok.
  • Ensure that the Safety team undertakes crucial safety related tasks related to Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis, Control of Work, Root Cause Analysis, Safety Inspections and Fire Investigations.

Security

  • Coordinate the operation of the Security Control Room in accordance with EM Live Arena policies and procedures. Plan, lead, organize and control, on the operational level, security for all events.
  • Plan, lead, organize and control, on the operational level, security for all events.
  • Act as an incident commander in security related incidents until properly relieved by competent authorities.
  • Ensure that security measures are in place to serve our customers’ security needs in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Security Guard Services

  • Provide input and supervision to contracted Security Supervisors and Security Officers
  • Implement Security Vendor Management
  • Assist in the recruitment, staffing and assignment of personnel.
  • Monitor Security personnel performance.
  • Review incident reports completed by Security Supervisors/Officer’s.
  • Identify training needs and implement guard training as required.

Access Control Systems

  • Ensure maintenance of written logs of incident reports and access reports
  • Coordinate access for vendors and contractors.

Emergency and Alarm Response

  • Coordinate Security Control Emergency and incident response in conjunction with Ministry of Defense as directed by Building Services Manager.
  • Ensure training records for all security staff are maintained.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • minimum of 10 years’ experience in security operations, particularly within the exhibition and event industry.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication.
  • Comprehensive understanding of event planning and security protocols.
  • Exhibits strong decision-making and judgement capabilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, overtime, and holidays as required. (clarify overtime compensation)
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Advanced negotiation and analytical skills for immediate problem-solving.
  • Capable of performing efficiently under high-pressure situations.
  • Certified training: Protection Professional (CPP),(CESS),First Aid and CPR ,Fire Safety Management, Risk Assessment and Management, Crisis Management and Response, and (PSP).
